Restaurante Vivmar - near the boat pier - shelfish rice or pasta stew, grilled fish and clams are my favorites.

Restaurante Vila Adentro - in the old town - everything is great.

Restaurante 7 Pedras - great burgers and tapas.

Tertúlia Algarvia - in the old town - another one where everything is great.

A Tasca do João - downtown - amazing tapas. Try our regional wine Joao Clara rosé.

Portas de São Pedro - downtown - typical tapas prepared in an open kitchen. The Migas and black pork are super tasty.

A Venda - downtown - better for dinner than lunch. Vegetarian options.

Chefe Branco - near our place - great bacalao and fish.

Hamburgeria da Baixa - downtown - mouth watering burgers.

O Modesto - near o Castelo, with outside tables, that has good grilled fish. Cheap and tasty.

Chalavar – near our place. A typical Portuguese tasca with great barbecued food.

O Aperitivo – great place for a drink and some appetizers pre-dinner.

Lodo – just next to Aperitivo. A trendy seafood restaurant with great oysters. From the sea to the table is their moto!

Los Locos – A very small and cozy restaurant downtown that serves very tasty Portuguese contemporary food. I advise you to book ahead.
